Nail Art, Tattoo making, T-Shirt painting – Just a few of the many unique and creative talents that the students of Don Bosco Junior College, Borivli showcased during the ‘Talent Hunt’ organised on July 29, 2016.

It was a happy sight to see every student in the college participating in a variety of activities. The Talent Hunt presented the budding writers with an opportunity to explore their creativity as they composed Poetry and wrote Essays. Those who enjoyed performing took to the stage in the Solo Singing, Solo Dancing as well as the English Elocution competitions.

The talents of the youth can be tapped and discovered beautifully when they are given an avenue to explore their God-given gifts. This was clearly evident in the array of nail designs, the artistic tattoos and the creative art painted on the T-shirts. The on-stage events also helped the students to build their confidence and overcome their stage-fright.

The Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi D’souza addressed the students and encouraged the students. He said, “Participation in the events is far more important than winning or losing.” An important lesson indeed for our youngsters, in today’s over-competitive world.
