To instill in the students the importance of the value of exercise, breathing, etc, a number of activities were conducted on yoga Day.

Students were divided into various sections according to their classes. A number of asanas were introduced to them through student demonstrations. The students then collectively practiced these asanas.The students were also shown some interesting videos that taught them how the correct postures have to be used when doing any yogic exercises. Various breathing and meditation techniques were also introduced to the students by over P.T. Sir, Mr. Mark Pereira.

Students learned the importance of exercising the body and mind regularly. They discovered how the regular practice of yoga can benefit a person’s health and well-being.The meditation techniques taught to the children will enable them to focus and concentrate on any task that they are doing.

The students also took a pledge to exercise regularly to build health their world.
