National Science day

The good thing about science is that, whether you believe it or not, it is always TRUE!!

Every year, India celebrates National Science Day on February 28 to commemorate the remarkable work of Indian physicist Sir CV Raman, in the field of light scattering. Known as one of the greatest scientists and an inspiration to many, Raman’s work has often proved to be helpful in modern science, and his life has been a source of inspiration for many.
Here at Don Bosco, Borivli, we uplift this great scientist and celebrate this day with varied activities.
This year too, we had a variety of activities planned for different classes, like the little chefs, Ayurveda- the science of life, Space adventure and Inventions and Innovations.
A small tree plantation project too was undertaken by the students, in our campus.
Ms. Rajni Chetan, a nutritionist and Major Urmila Sarkar, an activist with Isha Foundation, were the speakers for the day.
The students have immensely benefited from the various pursuits today.
A sincere word of appreciation and gratitude to our entire Science and Maths Faculty for planning and executing such an appealing event today.
