Online admissions are open for the Academic Year 2025

Don Bosco High School & Junior College, Borivli

On the 23rd and 24th of September 2024, the Don Bosco Alumni Association of the Borivli Unit organized a two-day medical check-up camp for the students of Don Bosco High School, Borivli. The camp, which aimed at promoting health and wellness among students, saw the participation of 12 doctors from the Borivli Medical Brotherhood, who generously volunteered their time and expertise.

Students from grades 5 to 10 underwent thorough medical screenings, which included basic dental hygiene checks, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) examinations, and general health care assessments. The camp was conducted in an extremely systematic manner, ensuring that each student received personalized attention and care.

A notable addition to the camp was an informative session conducted by Dr. Kajal Bhanushali for the students of grades 5 and 6. This session addressed the sensitive but crucial topic of “Good Touch and Bad Touch,” where Dr. Bhanushali emphasized the importance of self-awareness and understanding potential threats in various environments. The talk served to educate young students on how to recognize and respond to inappropriate behavior, empowering them with the knowledge to protect themselves.

The school expressed its deep gratitude to the doctors who participated in the camp, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to the health and well-being of the students. Their guidance and support throughout the camp were invaluable.

A special word of appreciation was also extended to the Don Bosco Alumni Association, which played a key role in organizing and driving this event. Their initiative in arranging this camp highlights their continued commitment to the welfare of the school and its students, further strengthening the bond between past and present students of Don Bosco High School.

Such initiatives not only foster a culture of health and safety but also nurture the overall development of the students, preparing them for a healthier future.
