Republic day

The Republic Day celebrations

The Republic Day celebrations at Don Bosco School (Borivli W) was a week full of enthusiasm and patriotism, starting from January 20th and culminating on January 24th, 2025. The primary section took part in a variety of activities to mark this important occasion. The celebrations began with a heartfelt prayer service organized by the cultural committee. During this service, the children learned
about the significance of Republic Day, why it is celebrated, and how even as young citizens, they can contribute to the country's growth. This was followed by a beautiful prayer for the nation.
Teachers decorated the class boards with informative charts, helping students learn more about Republic Day. To engage the students creatively, they were given Republic Day-themed colouring
worksheets, which they coloured with great care and enthusiasm. These artworks were proudly displayed in the school corridors, adding a colourful and patriotic touch. Additionally, wall hangings
created by students from grades 1 to 4 filled the school, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
The week’s celebrations not only helped the children learn about India’s history but also allowed them to express their respect and love for the nation. The event concluded with a call to action, urging everyone to be responsible citizens and work together to make India an even better place.
Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day! Let’s all continue to honour our nation and contribute to its progress.
