The Annual Thanksgiving Day at Don Bosco School, Borivali, was a spectacular event filled with joy, creativity, and heartfelt gratitude. The event commenced with the guard of honour, setting a respectful tone as we welcomed our esteemed chief guest, Fr. William Falcao, along with the management team and all the parents.
The festivities began with a beautiful prayer dance, invoking blessings for the day. This was followed by a vibrant welcome dance that set the stage for the day’s celebrations. The felicitation ceremony recognized the achievements and contributions of our students and staff, celebrating their hard work and dedication.
Entertainment took centre stage with a dynamic hip hop dance and a graceful Spanish entertainment dance, showcasing the diverse talents of our students.
The annual report highlighted the school’s achievements and milestones over the past year, reflecting our commitment to excellence in education and holistic development.
The highlight of the day was the musical, Melodies of the Mind – The Journey Within, which brilliantly portrayed the different emotions experienced by a family. The musical emphasized the crucial role parents play in the mental well-being of children, showing how a family can overcome negative emotions and challenges. It was a musical filled with self-reflection and expression, where each class performed dances linked to various emotions, accompanied by songs sung by our talented Boscoites. The musical ended with a grand finale, leaving the audience deeply moved and inspired.
Father Principal then expressed his sincere vote of thanks, acknowledging the hard work of everyone involved in making the event a success. The day concluded with the singing of the school anthem, fostering a sense of unity and pride among all attendees.
