A Day of Fun and Excitement at Royal Garden Resort
Excursions and picnics are a great way for students to take a break from their daily routine, bond with their peers, and create unforgettable memories. Keeping this in mind, Don Bosco High School & Junior College, Borivali, organized a one-day picnic for the students of Classes I to IV on 18th February 2025 at Royal Garden Resort & Water Park, Naigaon.
Departure and Journey
Excitement filled the air as students arrived at the school premises early in the morning, dressed in
their DB school shirts, black track pants, black shoes, and socks. After a quick attendance check, the
students, accompanied by their teachers and trained trip buddies, boarded the buses. The journey to the resort was filled with songs, laughter, and anticipation.
Arrival at Royal Garden Resort
Upon reaching the resort, students were welcomed with a refreshing drink and light snacks. The lush
green surroundings and the well-maintained facilities immediately caught everyone’s attention. The
resort offered a perfect blend of adventure, fun, and relaxation.
Exciting Activities and Attractions
The day was packed with a variety of engaging activities that kept the students entertained
throughout. Some of the key highlights included: Swimming & Water Park Fun: The most awaited
part of the picnic was the water park, where children splashed around in pools, enjoyed thrilling
water slides, and had a great time under the waterfalls. Life guards and supervision ensured a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Outdoor & Indoor Games: The resort had various play areas, including indoor soft play zones and
dashing car rides. Students enjoyed exploring the different play areas, engaging in friendly
competitions, and showcasing their playful energy.
Magic Show: A fascinating magic show mesmerized the young audience, leaving them in awe. The
performers interacted with the children, making the experience even more engaging.
Music & Dance: The DJ and music session turned the venue into a lively dance floor. Students and
teachers enthusiastically danced to peppy beats, adding to the celebratory mood.
Delicious Food Menu
A picnic is incomplete without good food, and the school ensured that the students relished a
delightful meal. The lunch menu included Chole , Puri, Fried Rice, Veg Manchurian, Noodles and
Shrikhand. In the evening, students were treated to pizza, pasta, juice, and ice cream, which added a
sweet touch to the end of a fantastic day.
The Journey Back & Unforgettable Memories

As the sun began to set, it was time to bid farewell to the resort. With hearts full of joy and hands

full of goodies, the students boarded the buses for their return journey. Even during the ride back,
the excitement continued as they shared their favorite moments with their friends.
Upon reaching school, students were safely handed over to their parents, carrying wonderful
memories of a day well spent. The annual picnic was not just a break from academics but also an
opportunity for students to bond, explore, and enjoy the beauty of outdoor learning.
A heartfelt thank you to the school management, teachers, and trip coordinators for organizing such
a well-planned and delightful outing. The students will cherish these memories for a long time to
come!
