Don Bosco Feast Celebrations & Blue House Week
(27th – 30th January 2025)
The Don Bosco Feast Celebrations and Blue House Week were observed with immense enthusiasm and spirit from 27th to 30th January 2025. The week was marked by a series of engaging activities that aimed to instill values, creativity, and awareness among students while honoring the legacy
of St. John Bosco. The Blue House Week commenced with an introduction to the color blue, followed by the theme ‘Save Water Campaign.’ To emphasize the significance of water conservation, students participated in a Save Water Coloring Activity, where they creatively filled worksheets and penned
meaningful slogans advocating water preservation. Throughout the week, teachers conducted inspiring sessions on Blue House leaders—Don Bosco and Mahatma Gandhi—highlighting their contributions, principles, and teachings that continue to inspire generations. A class-wise ‘Show and Tell’ activity added to the excitement, as students enthusiastically presented blue-colored objects, describing their significance with confidence and creativity.
The celebrations continued with a Blue House Riddle Quiz, where students displayed keen interest and enthusiasm, making it a fun and engaging experience. Moreover, students were encouraged to adopt practical water- saving habits in their daily lives, reinforcing the message of sustainability
and responsibility. Coinciding with the Feast of Don Bosco, the week was made even more special with the decoration of Don Bosco’s statue and a showcase of his teachings, which served as a source of inspiration for all. The Don Bosco Feast Celebrations and Blue House Week concluded on a
joyous and meaningful note, leaving students with cherished memories and valuable lessons. The blend of learning, creativity, and festivity made the week a truly enriching experience for all.
