Farewell ceremony

Farewell Ceremony – 1st May

A farewell is never truly a goodbye, but a promise to meet again. On the 1st of May, the Don Bosco
family came together with hearts full of gratitude and emotion to bid farewell to four esteemed members of our institution: Father Principal Flovi D’Souza, School Administrator Father Diego Nunes, Assistant Parish Priest Father Akhil, and NIOS Coordinator Mrs. Rose Nazareth.

The ceremony commenced with a prayer, invoking God’s blessings upon the departing members. This was followed by a heartfelt address by our Father Rector, Rev. Fr. Manuel Murzello, who spoke warmly about the contributions and impact each of the four had made during their time at Don Bosco. His words reflected the deep respect and affection the school community holds for them.

Each of the members being felicitated also shared their personal experiences and fond memories of their journey with Don Bosco, expressing their gratitude and love for the school, its students, and staff.

As a token of appreciation, the coordinators, along with the teaching staff, presented small mementos to each of them—symbols of our love, admiration, and best wishes for their future endeavors.

The ceremony concluded on a nostalgic note with a touching farewell song and group photographs,
capturing moments that will be cherished for years to come. It was a day filled with warmth, reflection, and heartfelt goodbyes.
