July 15, 2022 will be a memorable day for the elected office bearers of the student council for the year 2022-23 at Don Bosco Borivli. On this day they were invested with the symbols of their leadership at the Investiture Ceremony.
The ceremony began with a short prayer service invoking the blessings of the Almighty on the gathered members of the management, teachers, parents and the students.
The lighting of the lamp by the Rector, Rev Fr Solomon Rapol, Principal Fr Flovi D’Souza and the supervisor Mrs Charusheela Pujare, set the mood for the event.
Fr Flovi, our Principal, appraised the student Council of their duties and responsibilities towards the school.
The candidates were then adorned with ties, sashes and amulets by the fathers and teachers. The audience cheered and lauded this moment of glory and pride.Fr Solomon, in his speech, congratulated the students for taking this responsibility and reminded them of the legacy of St Don Bosco.
The council members also pledged that they would strive to fulfil their promise and help the students and the management in the smooth functioning of the school.We congratulate our new office bearers and wish them best in their new innings!
