22nd December ’22: With grateful hearts and joyful spirit, the staff and students of Don Bosco High school and Junior college, Borivli, came together to thank the management of the school for their commendable contribution to the lives of all on the campus.
The students, right from the primary to the junior college, gathered in large numbers under the majestic shamiana to express their heartfelt gratitude towards the team. The office bearers of the school led the squad comprising of our Rector, Rev. Fr. Solomon Rapol, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Flovi D’souza, Administrator, Fr
Renold Lemos, Fr Aloysious Furtado and Fr Mylin Noronha, along with the co-ordinators of the various sections.
A beautiful and a meaningful prayer service lived up to the theme of the day ‘The Shepherds of Love’. An elaborate felicitation was organized in honour of all the fathers as the students very humbly expressed their gratefulness towards them and presented them with floral tributes.
The principal, Fr D’souza, in his Vote of thanks, emphasized on the fact that their lives revolved around the students entrusted to their care. And so, all they do and all they plan is for the betterment of the Don Bosco clan.
What followed thereafter was dhamaal, masti and magic.. This event also saw the celebration of the Christmas program for students. The melodious carols, the dances and the Christmas tableau reverberated the mood of the students and the teachers alike. The spirit of Christmas loomed in the air and on the minds of all present. The excitement and joy they experienced was very obvious on their faces. As the students left the venue, we were sure that they would spread the true meaning of Christmas to all they meet.
It was indeed a day to remember.For all that you are and for all that you do, our hearts and our minds will always be indebted to you…. Thank You Fathers!
