Patriotic Singing Competition – Standards 5 & 6

The school hall was filled with patriotic fervour on 29th July 2025, as the students of Standards 5 and 6 participated in the Patriotic Singing Competition. The event aimed to ignite a sense of national pride and unity among the young learners.

A total of four groups took part, each presenting a non-filmy patriotic song within a time limit of three minutes. Dressed in thematic costumes, the students delivered soulful performances, with some groups also showcasing still acts that added a visual depth to their songs.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Principal Rev. Fr. Ranson D’souza, Mrs. Neelam Rodrigues, Mrs. Charusheela Pujare, Mrs. Pooja Kadam, and Sir Cliffrichard, whose encouragement added to the enthusiasm of the participants. The event was judged by Ms. Jamilina Fernandes and Mr. Leroy Mascarenhas, who appreciated the creativity, coordination, and spirit shown by the students.

The Principal addressed the audience, applauding the efforts of the young performers and their mentors. A special highlight of the event was when the judges themselves rendered a patriotic song, inspiring both students and teachers alike.

After all the captivating performances, Class 5B was declared the first prize winner, followed by Class 6B, which secured the second prize. In conclusion, the competition was a heartwarming and spirited celebration of India’s rich heritage and the young generation’s love for the nation. It successfully blended music, expression, and patriotism in a memorable school event.
