To make the students aware of traffic rules and safety measures that we should take while moving on the road “Road Safety Day” was organised in Don Bosco High School, Borivali.
An informative workshop was also organised by Borivali Division Traffic Police. The resource persons were

HC Mr. Laxman Shinde.
The workshop was well attended by 110 Scouters & 60 Guiders of class IX. Mr Sanjay Sawant & Mr Chandrakant Shinde gave valuable instructions regarding traffic rules, discussing the role of parents in preventing minor driving, emphasised on wearing helmets and also the seat belts. The team interacted with the students raising the issues of rash – driving, drunk driving, road rage with special mention to minor driving. They also discussed immediate causes and traumatic effects of impulsive behavior of people on roads.
The students came up with their queries and promised to follow the rules.
