SALUTATION TO THE  SIMPLE CHARM OF OUR PROVINCIAL.

Father Provincial’s visit at Don Bosco High School and Junior College  Borivali West.

Being a provincial of the northeast province of the Salesians Schools of Don Bosco  signifies greater responsibilities and  profound accomplishments. Rev.Fr Savio Silveira was warm heartedly welcomed by the students  dressed up in attire of different  states.The student committee proudly marched the Provincial as the guard of honour.The ceremony initiated after the lighting of the lamp.

The awesome backdrop was  very welcoming.After the speech of Rev.Fr.Rector Solomon Rapol , a floral tribute and a greeting  card were presented  to Rev.Fr.Provincial

The prayer dance by the tiny tots of the pre- primary section was so spiritual and truly blessed.

The welcome speech by the NIOS student was applauded  by all.

The primary students  KOLI DANCE was a cherry on the cake.Their rhythm, beats , expression, poise , dress, and  foot tapping dance were a reflection  of  an incredible  choreography

The students of college danced to   entertain us to the T.

Our Rev.Fr.Principal simply proved that gratitude is the best attitude in his Thanksgiving  speech towards all the  staff and  students.

Rev. Father Provincial  had a  meeting  with the teaching staff of Don Bosco  Borivali along with Our Principal Rev.Father Flovi D’Souza. Rev. Fatherr  Provincial expresse that  the most valuable and essential   part of any institution are TEACHERS.

He adds that the  algorithm  does not create wonderful  students. It is the wonderful  teachers who create wonderful students.

He further emphasized that the call of time is to create a good person and good citizens  of  today and tomorrow. These students, in turn, will contribute to the betterment  of society. There, by bringing  about peace and harmony, which requires serious engagement  of the educators of SDB’S

The meeting concluded by Fr.Principal, who  summarizes that yes, we need to focus on Psychological make up and emotional growth  and mental health  of our students.

We achieve  not by trampling over others but also enabling others to move forward.

The closing speech was an animated reflection of the efforts gone in the making of our new school  building .

Constructive criticism  and motivation  are needed for the relentless work done by Fr .Provincial  and Our Management at the most challenging  hours of the pandemic.
