Don Bosco High School & Junior College, Borivli

With praise and Thanksgiving, the students of Don Bosco High school, Junior College joined in the holy mass being celebrated by the newly ordained priests, namely Rev. Fr Agnel James, and Fr. Lawrence Vincent. They were joined by Fr Velasli Bandya, the Vocation, promoter of the Mumbai province and Rev. Fr Solomon Rapol, The Rector and the Parish priest of St. John Bosco Church, Borivali.
The Catholic students, the teachers and some lay faithful were indeed blessed to witness the celebration of praise. While Rev Fr. Lawrence Vincent was the main celebrant, Fr Agnel James preached the homily.
Fr James, through an interactive way emphasised upon the importance of the Holy Spirit in our lives and three simple ways of getting the Holy Spirit to be upon us always.
After the communion, they thanked the community for giving them this opportunity to be present and spend time with the students of the school. As the final hymn was being sung, the students were all invited to kiss the holy hands, and receive blessings from the ordained priests.
After the holy Eucharist, there was a short interactive session for the boys of standard seventh and eighth with the priests. In this session, both Fr Agnel as well as Fr Lawrence shared their story of vocation with the boys. Having spoken to them, they urged the students to keep their minds open to the call of the Lord and be ready to serve the humanity in the Don Bosco way.
