The day began with a warm welcome by comperes Tr. Navina and Tr. Mital, setting the tone for an electrifying event. The ceremonial lighting of the torch, symbolizing unity and the power within, followed by the hoisting of the flag, marked the official commencement. School Captain Mst. Joy Cornelius led the Sportsman’s Oath, inspiring students to uphold fairness, respect, and integrity in all their endeavors.
The Sportsman’s Prayer was eloquently recited by Assistant School Captain Mst. Reyansh Tambe, followed by a motivational speech on the spirit of sportsmanship by School Captain Ms. Pragati Nayak. These moments underscored the importance of values in sports and life.
Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Manuel Murzello graced the first day with his presence, delivering an inspiring speech that resonated with students, encouraging them to embrace challenges and strive for excellence. On the second day, Rev. Fr. Diego Nunes shared words of wisdom, motivating everyone to pursue both physical and mental well-being.
The cultural segment was a highlight, featuring a dynamic aerobics display choreographed by Tr. Cheryl and Tr. Priti. The traditional Lezim dance, organized by Tr. Alexinha, infused a cultural richness into the event. The Mallakhamb performance showcased incredible strength and agility, leaving the audience awestruck.
Principal Rev. Fr. Flovi D’Souza emphasized the role of sports in fostering discipline, teamwork, and holistic growth. His inspiring message reinforced the school’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
To honor and encourage participation, certificates were awarded to all students, making every participant feel valued. The event's aesthetic appeal was elevated by a beautifully designed backdrop created by Tr. Sandhya and Tr. Tanveer with support from the Sports Committee. The success of the event was a result of the tireless efforts of the Yellow House, the Cultural and Sports Committees, and the sports coaches and teachers. Special gratitude was extended to Principal Rev. Fr. Flovi D’Souza, Primary Headmistress Mrs. Grenita Machado, CBSE
