The English Literary Fest at Don Bosco High School, Borivli, for the Academic year 22-23 was held from 11th July to 13th July 22.
It was a potpourri of a variety of activities being organised for the students from the 5th to the 10th.
After the Pandemic, it was generally observed that the students were taking longer than usual to come out of their comfort zone. This is when our principal, Fr Flovi D’Souza, suggested having competitions at their class level to help get maximum participation.
And the response was amazing.
The English Faculty had selected some interesting topics for the Fest. The 5th standard had Character enactment. The 6th standard students displayed their oral skills through a Story Telling competition. The 7th standard were up and ready for Creative advertisements while the 8th standard students had to enact a monologue.
The 9th and the 10th standard students were very good at speech.
The colourful charts displayed in the classes and the corridors had the students excited.
It was an amazing event and we look forward to some more to come.
