The sole objective of the Science Club is to enhance the scientific knowledge of the students, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a passion for the subject. One of the key benefits of joining a science club is the opportunity to conduct experiments and explore different scientific concepts in a hands-on way.
We, at Don Bosco High School, Borivli are in cognisance with these objectives.
The students of the Science Club completed their first activity for this academic year- designing and making Eco-friendly Ganesh idols, on Saturday,16th September,2023 from 7:30-8:30 am in the undercroft area of the school building.
Seven groups took up the challenge of presenting eco-friendly Ganesh idols using materials such as tomatoes, leaves, clay, wheat flour, etc. The students portrayed a sense of team spirit & collaboration during the activity.
The descent idols were later judged by Ms.Charusheela & Sir Cliffrichard. The displayed idols were appreciated by both the judges as well as parents too.
Thus, the first activity was successfully completed, as scheduled.
