Theme: Respect and Gratitude towards our teachers.
Teachers are the awe-inspiring, rock stars of education. They work tirelessly to enrich the lives of the next generation. Their devotion, hard work, and eternal positivity never go unnoticed. “A good teacher is like a candle—it consumes itself to light the way for others.”
We at Don Bosco Borivali began our Teachers day celebration from the 4th of September ,We started our assembly on the intercom and a beautiful PPT presentation was showcased in each classroom, where our young boscoites felicitated our teachers with words of appreciation and a little cut-out of a heart shape badge was given to each teacher as a token of love .We then continued with the assembly in the hall starting with a prayer dance evoking God’s blessings. The prayer Song was titled Thank you Lord. A beautiful poetry was recited by our kids followed by an energetic theme dance on the song ‘Chhote Chhote Pavsse’.The students then sang a melodious song which was specially dedicated for our teachers. Finally the grand finale of Grade 2 CBSE, students performed a synchronized dance on the songs ‘I love my teacher & I want to say thank you’.
On the 5th of September ,we started our day with the Eucharistic celebration ,which was celebrated by our priest from the house with a beautiful homely given by our Rector Father Solomon Raphol. then we proceeded to have breakfast and yes we had a fun filled day planned ahead and entertainment began. We all were seated in the hall where our kids performed a power packed entertainment programme ,our students danced to the melodious retro songs ,sang beautiful songs . Father Rector gave us few words of wisdom, our green line team students gave each teacher a beautiful plant sapling , the past pupils association then felicitated ours with a small token of their love. We end our entertainment programme with our students and the PPA. Our Principal Father Flovi Dsouza gave us a beautiful message and thanked everyone with a the vote of thanks .
Then the Management and the cultural committee of our school organised a session of fun games for the teachers ,we had a dancing session and the teachers really enjoyed themselves . The management felicitated the teachers with a gift and finally we had a tasty lunch and some yummy desert for the day. Well all good things come to an end and finally the celebration was came to an end
