A vaccination drive was held on Friday, the 5th of August for the students from class 7 to class 10.
This year, getting ready for school meant more than just pens, pencils and notebooks. Vaccinating students helps us all get back to our normal lives and keeps everyone safer. And so we, at Don Bosco Borivli, in collaboration with the BMC R/Central ward had organised a third vaccination drive for our students above the age of 11. Having received a very positive response at the first two drives, the third drive also saw about 127 students coming forward to receive the vaccine. The authorities had made arrangements for Corbevax and Covaxin available for the different age groups.
On behalf of the entire Staff & Management, We wish to express our gratitude and thank Shri. Nivrutti Gondhali( Asst. Commissioner R- Central). Dr Kawale. (Medical Health Officer). Dr. Dr Sneha Walke R/C Dr. Sagar, Dr. Ankita and BMC team for arranging this drive in our school, along with Rev. Fr. Solomon Rapol( Rector) and Fr. Flovi Dsouza (Principal) and Mrs Charusheela Pujare ( Supervisor- secondary).
Also a big word of thanks to Mr Rossi D’Souza for coordinating the event singlé handedly.
We hope and pray that life restores back to normalcy after a hiatus of two unpleasant years!
